I am going to have some sort of Eurorack Modular by the end of the week I believe! I have a powered case coming, Make Noise Pressure Points (x2) and Brains coming. Next I am hunting down a DPO, Optomix and Maths. Anything after that is gravy baby.

Re: What is in the post? The thread of and for GAS!
Arrived yesterday, I am dying to try it but I'm completely swamped with work (barely time to sleep).
One thing is for sure though, I have ordered many pedz over the years but Nick and Magic have managed to impress me greatly: right amount of communication (proactive too), realistic deadlines that are met & outstanding build quality. These 2 are the dog's bollocks!

The Wizard rules, total BEAST of a fuzz pedal both physically and sonically speaking. Nick built me a custom version recently with a LaoWiz etched enclosure, I LOVE that pedal, so much tasty gain! Haven't dealt with Magic yet but Nick def offers some supreme customer service , no question.Glenouille wrote:Arrived yesterday, I am dying to try it but I'm completely swamped with work (barely time to sleep).

I was kind of bummin' the day I got this in so I didn't post about it.
But now that I've got it fit within the rest of my board I'm pretty happy.
The Out Sound (LaoWiz) custom Tone Machine-> Pharaoh.

I bought a Japanese OC-2 for a good price the other day. Finding gear at good prices here in Ireland is a rare thing so I jumped on that ish as soon as. Since receiving it it hasn't left my board. I'm pairing it with an Orangizer and am loving it. I really want a PS-3 for sale in Ireland, and I want more octave pedals like the FoxRox Octron and EHX POG.greyscales wrote:Impulse bought a Boss OC-2 because it was just at the right price. And I've always been curious about them.
It's really been a week of spontaneous GAS.

Are you using it on guitar or bass? I'm pretty excited to get it. My last octave pedal was a POG2, and I am kind of curious to see how the octave downs compare. Never played a Boss shifter so it'll be a new experience for me.AngryGoldfish wrote:I bought a Japanese OC-2 for a good price the other day. Guitar. It's not that much like the POG. It's more glitchy and fat sounding. It tracks well enough, but I wouldn't use it for certain things unless I was searching for that particular style of discordance, which is actually pretty common.greyscales wrote:Are you using it on guitar or bass?
