they are fairly rare. people usually ask around $200 for them on eBay but I was lucky enough to snag that for $70.

sounds awesome IMO. really wacky delay/flange/chorus

I have played this and the Zeta quite a bit at my friends' shop the past couple times I've been in there. Interestingly, I thought the Beta sounded WAY better on guitar than the Zeta. More full or something. Didn't try it on bass. Both are leagues better than the Super Drive, which I don't care for at all (and I only mention because I guess it's part of that family of ODs for SGFX?).

I finally got the money to order a Squier Bass VI today and I'm so excited. I hate waiting. I'm poor as dirt so buying instruments is a big deal for me (even at $350 haha), so I'm dying to get it.

Dude, we must be long-lost gear cousins or something. I just finished suggesting you add one of these to your setup in the pedal board thread. You'll love that thing to death - a truly crazy, versatile fuzz. Love that colour scheme, too. Mine is one of the earlier PCB models.
