I mean, I do wish it had a couple of extra controls on the Duality but we'll see. Supposedly it has been ultravoiced to be good with active or passive basses, tube or solid taints, tweeters or whatever. I somehow do wonder how that can be so. I love the B3K and it is on my board.......but TB can overhype DG a lotta bit much. What did Jean say that got removed?

I mean, I am excited about this guy.....just not more than a when lot of other builders release stuff.

I think Darkglass has made the most unique sounding OD on the market. Hands down. I know others aren't that keen on them, but I don't think it's overhyped. It's a well justified hype.

ughhhh some days i just want to be able to play with like 3 pedals and that's it. i love all the neat things my board does, but difficulty shits is such a fucking.... mood ruiner live?

at least it wasn't my fault. there was a "sound guy" tonight. fucking moron. this is a small spot, i'm playing through a loud ass setup. WHY are you mic'ing my stuff? 'specially when you don't know what you're doing. i've never had that much feedback when i don't want it.

had to cut things short that were s'posed to ring out and play the feedback more than bass at some points.

GUFF. ANNOYING. i just want to play and have everything work perfect and do what we're trying to do.

......... plus there was ass hattery and douche flavors being spewed all around tonight.

But seriously, that sucks man. I played tonight with an awesome sound person who knew the room and the system and worked with the band. They even knew what frequencies I needed to boost/cut to get the most out of the mix. Seriously never happens anymore

part of the frustration is last time we played here everybody was super nice, the staff, the sound guy, the other bands were AWESOME. it was one of the more fun shows i've played recently.

and the bar grrL was a bit uptight and the sound guy was IGNORANT and an ass.

"oh, i don't go di. makes fuzz sound like poop. but this is a small place. last time we went no mics on bass, just one for the bass drum and the drum machine. my rig's plenty too much louds for in here."

"i have to run everything through the board."

"...... uh. why? i don't need bass in the monitors or through your speakers. i like mines."

"........... kayyyyyy. well you'll have to mic it then. i don't have a di."

"no thank you."

fucking ridiculous. it's a TINY spot. nice stage, but holds mebbe 40 people on the floor and 30 on the balcony.
