Fair enough, I'm not familar with GreenhouseFX. Just looking at their pedals on their site, they probably use a tall enclosure and stack the jacks underneath the pots. I guess that's one way to do it, although I wouldn't want to be the one trying to do that wiring job, it sounds like it would be a nightmare.
You'd be surprised how handy Roy is... here's what the inside of the sludgehammer looks like.
The pots, jacks, and footswitch are all flying leads, no pcb mounting here. The enclosure is smaller than Darkglass, in width AND height (none of those ridiculously tall hammonds here)
I like top mounted jacks in the enclosures that Iron Ether use...I think they are 125B's or something. Just a little wider than the Darkglass/MXR size boxes, but effectively a lot narrower when accounting for the plugs.

Our signature Duality knob allows selecting and blending between a classic sounding, saw-tooth shape shifting circuit and a high gain, thick and brutal one.
You can use them individually or blend them for a wide selection of crazy and wild textures and voicings. And as if that wasn't enough, use the Blend knob to add in some clean signal for 3 layers of fat, thick madness."
DUDE.

That is so what I want, though I wish there were more controls to shape the individual fuzzes. And that they replaced the clean blend with a dirty blend. But hey, builders are getting closer!
top mounted jacks are awesome, but i've had quite a few builds where two pancake head plugs will fit.... as long as you don't want to plug in the power supply. then it's too cramped.
that..... doesn't help.

The gain is also fixed, no adjustment. Interesstttinnnggg....
Where are these guys sourcing these enclosures? I like em cause they are less common seeming than you standard Hammond Style enclosures.
Good question. I dunno. I believe he had these made specially for him.
They only take 2 screws but you don't even need them....They're built like brick shithouses that are almost impossible to open without pliers and a screwdriver.

a friend was annoyed at all the GIMME GIMME about the DarkGlass Fuzz and said, "it's pretty much a stripped down Oxide right? why is DG acting like it's a new, amazing idea?".
