One of you NE guys needs to set up a woods show. I'd drive all the way up there to play a drone set for sure.

NE would be the perfect place. Maybe one of the abandoned homes at Quabbin, I don't know if that would be possible but what a perfect setting. Ancient trees surrounding the remnants of stone walls and the crumbling ruins of a chimney like some neolithic monument to the old gods.

I could host a get together/small show for an opposite setting of a forest. My house sits right on the edge of a turf farm. Lots of OPEN SPACE!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll post pics tomorrow. The only problem is that my boyfriend only trusts me and his parents. Especially after the incident I posted about in my SWR SM-400 thread. I should be able to convince him to relax though.

Thanks man.AxAxSxS wrote:yep, and the two earth heads, everything else is getting used, and I want to keep at least one of the earth heads as a back up amp. I'm still considering converting the 200 watt one to kt88s.
Moose man that's a sweet stable of amps you have there!

The forest idea is badass, I'm just throwing my idea out there as well. Polar opposites are also good!

Doom woods show sounds like such a fucking awesome idea.
Got some tung-sols in my Ampeg, really woke the bastard up in the sparkle and harmonics department. Confirms that I can't stand JJ preamp tubes. They just sound so dull and depressing to me.

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
Today fuckin sucked. Dropped $1,900 on getting my Polaris fixed. Could have had a massive as fuck new gear day with that one. I'm about to soothe my empty wallet through my belly with some grilled frog legs and then watch some horror movies with the family.
