um no, gasing for a singlecut invalidates this...
Dude. You talk smack but you dig all kinds of funky shit.
If only MTD stood for Mudfuzz' Trippin' Designs.
nah AND is still a cooler name
Really I only played one MTD and I didn't like the neck shape so I've never really given much thought other then I really Respect their attitude about materials and design and that they don't make anything fugly like most "modern" style bass builders do.
So I've been obsessed with a fretless bass lately. I think I may just give up on it though. I was willing to add a ton of cash for someone plus my Roscoe for a nice fretless. People are soooooooooooo fucking stupid.
Also, I need a combo like I said in my thread. A nice small one that's loud. Any recommendations? Either that or a more portable cab. One that's loud and light. My GK cab is just too heavy to lug back and forth. But the Genz head is soooooooooooooooooooo light (like 3 lbs), I could easily throw that in my car, no issues.
One more question. Has anyone played a Modulus Q6? I had a dude offer me one for my Roscoe, plus like 400 bucks. I'm seriously considering it because it's 35' scale, which is the same as my Roscoe, but an extra string. So easy, easy transition. Always wanted to try a sixer.
"I do not have the ability to think rationally 90% of the time and I also change my mind at the drop of a hat".
I haven't tried a Modulus but I used to want to try one. Some are hawt, so look weird. I am pretty sure the neck is graphite. 6 string is hawt though! I need me one.
You could get a 1-12 cab of some kind, maybe a Berg or Aggie with that $400.
I saw it sold after I posted the link...Beautiful Bass... I just sold that guy a Hardshell case that fits Dingwalls.
That Mobius is tight bro.
Shifting gears for a minute;
I have 2 MoogerFoogers- MF-104m (delay) and MF-108m (ClusterFlux) plus an MP-201 cv/midi controller. I have been preety damn busy lately and have only been messing with the Foogers a bit. I have been a bit underwhelmed by the delay by itself (no cv or expression control) but know what that could do, and have been enjoying the ClusterFLux a lot, best Flanger every and a Sweet chorus to boot plus it can be a modulated delay too. So, I finally ran my Slim Phatty through the Delay and HOLY SHIT!!!!!!AMAZEBALLSSAUCE. SO damn good, really unlocks so many cool timbres of sound and just makes the synth breath. ClusterFlux is Rad too on the synth. I must keep both forever know! So after the 13th (when I am getting married!!!!) I will finally work at CVing everything, bring the MP-201 into the equation. This semester is kicking my ass, I can't wait until it's done so I can play more.

I don't think anyone's ever done that before.
Har Har, passiveaggressive hurt talk
The real deal is that by this time next year I shall really be working on a modular synth. Not sure what format though. Euro is cool but lots of options (Modcan,Buchla, Serge )
Yeah we have decided to go Prog Pop for the next record. We have custom capes made already so we are getting close to the songwriting stage.
CV= Control Voltage
CV is like invisible hands turning knobs, it could be like an expression pedal or it can be rhythmic if you use an LFO also Envelopes can be used to send CV. Gates can be applied by CV, Oscillators can sync together through CV, FM or AM is possible. It just lets one part of the chain affect/control another part.
