One thing I really liked about the finale is that Walter went into the lab to die. This makes it look like he was cooking the whole time, leaving the legacy and blame with him. I felt like the finale's pacing was a little rushed at parts but I am still pretty happy with it. Great series overall for sure!

Just finished the finale and hoooooolyyyyyyyy shit it was probably the best finale of any show I've seen.

All of these are probably true. But I also think he did it deliberately to wash Jesse free. He pretty much tried to be as good a person as possible in this last episode. I mean, he didn't even put real hitmen on Gretchen and Elliott. And he told Skylar what she wanted to hear. I mean, it IS a part of the truth and maybe the interview with Gretchen and Elliott has made him see that more clearly, but the "I did it for my family" thing still rings true.
(I almost cried when he caressed little Holly, I would not have minded if that scene had gone on for 10 minutes and in the end you just see the policecars light the scenery.)

Why are we hiding this stuff? I just did not go in this thread when I wasn't up to date.

Totally agreed on the Holly thing. The consequences this all had against his family is what really hits home with me. Not that he would be around much longer if he never started cooking meth though, so..

finally finished...Breaking Bad...thankyou for not doing a "dexter" to the finale.

now ...im gonna have to rewatch it all from start to end.
