I'd really like to try one of these out with an expression pedal.

Today was a good day for GAS.

The Vitruvian Mod is awesome, I still need to spend a bit more time messing with it cos the controls are a bit complicated but it really is a unique and musical ring mod, tons of new sounds that I've never had in anything else before.

Where do you guys get these awesome vitruvians? I want one too!

Anyway I got a Flashback X4 3 days ago and today I've been fumbling with the editor software, uploaded some Toneprints that are less yawn-inspiring than the ones the former owner had saved.

Because KNOBS

I could have gotten the silver face one, but after staring at both for long enough I decided I like the original blue better.
Might be getting a Yamaha TX81Z next...

I know right? ;) I'm basically a home studio guy and don't really need any gigging gear, so I've begun to embrace that and revamp my arsenal accordingly. My MO nowadays is to pack as much firepower and variety into as little stuff as possible, and stick primarily to pieces that I want to explore deeply and master. I was getting sick of having excess gear all over the place filling up the room, and I kind of hit a wall with pedals, started feeling like I had seen all there is to see. Eventide was the turning point for me, their pedals are the gateway to the higher realms, along with Strymon, Source Audio and even Line 6 to a lesser extent. So far, the MASF Possessed is the only pedal since the Pitchfactor that I feel is completely irreplaceable, but I think I might be able to figure out how to emulate it with the TC Fireworx eventually.

I just updated the Eclipse, and found the ehx microsynth mode...holy balls the tracking

you may want to hold off if you're planning to use it on bass..
works fine on the high register but once you get to the lowest octave range or so it doesn't track properly and is kind of useless. Apparently it's tuned specifically for guitar. It would be nice if they made a bass version because it's a great pedal.
