anyone had this? doesn't seem to be too terribly common around here, but my girlfriend got a bottle. it's awesome. i think it was around $35. really good for that price point. i like jameson as it is. it's my go to whiskey if i'm out somewhere and want a shot and am not out having a fancy whiskey experience. the black label tastes like jameson, but it's quite a bit smoother and has a really good smokey taste. i've looked in a number of liquor stores since she brought it home and haven't seen it again.
anyway, if you see it, it's good.

Re: jameson black label
I just had a shot of plain ole Jameson this weekend, if it was smoother and smokey I would have been in heaven.

Re: jameson black label
Jameson was my first whiskey, so I like the idea of giving the Black a go. I had been leaning from Bourbon towards rye lately, but I'm game. And since it's after Labor Day, it's time to restock the dark liquors.

Jameson is good stuff. Although I'm partial to Bushmills if I'm going Irish.
Although I always go for black label over the white, it's so much smoother and has a lot more going on taste-wise

Another good Irish whiskey to try is Finnegan. Blows Jameson away IMO.
