Let us know how it works out man. I've been wanting to play with one of those for a while. seems like you could do some wild stuff with one.

In other new I just emailed Mark about getting in on the preorder for the Quantum Mystic. I realized I'd spent the last few days constanly telling everyone that I don't need one. so uhm yeah, that was bs.

I sold an 80s Rat I wasn't using (and found for free) for almost as much as I needed to get in on the preorder so it was a no brainer. I mean come on, Mike + Mark + Nick = the perfect trifecta for heavy tones.

Yeah I'm bummed I'm gonna have to pass on this one. Still hanging out for that Left Hand Path though.... :poke:

So, with summit being the superhuman that he is, the Sheffields I'm getting are going to go into my project 4x12. I'm yet to get the other speakers and it will be a while before I do. Anyone got any recommendations as to what to look out for to pair these suckers with. I will be running the 4x12 in conjunction with my stock Orange 2x12, which will be bringing the mids-storm, so something else a bit metal-esque maybe? Or totally contrasting to achieve tonal wall domination? Help me out fellas.
Thought I might scrap my idea of a half and half 4x12 for now and maybe go for a white hiwatt colour scheme. Too porno?

Also, within the next week or so, I'm gonna be posting some pedals up for sale to help fund this, it might only be of interest to Aussies and Kiwis, but for all your Northern Hemisphericans, I will offer A DOOM ROOM DISCOUNT to help offset brutal shipping a little.

I'm building my dream amp: low watt amp with massive TUBE fuzz and low end. Almost done (needs tweaking). Too bad I can't yet crank it without oscillation, would really like to hear those 6v6s distorted. :omg: :excellent:

I wanna get in on that preorder too but I'm gonna have to wait. I've got two records coming out that I need to fund and all my cash is going towards that. Seriously thinking about selling my 2204 to get some funds. Sucks being broke. :(

Nope. White amps and cabs are quite nearly as awesome as green amps and cabs.

Me too. I really want to get a PT Jr and start a second board, but that is all gonna have to wait until after we settle into parenthood.

I'm a big fan of white cabs. Especially when they start showing a little age on them.

The opening of flag football season. I've never even been that much into the physical aggression of football. I'm more of a fan of highly efficient offensive schemes but it's looking awfully soft out there. It seems like the one of the best offensive strategies this season may be to get as many penalties called on the other team as possible.

With all we know right now, the league has to at least put forward some semblance of "protecting" the players. While it may result in some bone-headed penalties and games consisting of trying to get pass interference calls and Tom Brady receiving roughing calls every other throw, the league is overcompensating for the time being and it MUST do something to show it, right or wrong.

Though this may be a conversation for another day (where I ask that you allow me to talk your ear off on the subject), as we learn more and more about the nature of concussions and other head & neck injuries over the next few years, long term effects of those injuries, and all college & pro players can make informed decisions as adults if they want to continue to play in the face of those risks, we may start to see the pendulum swing back in a marginally less conservative direction regarding the penalties on dangerous hits and other such issues people may have.

Regardless, the NFL is a juggernaut and very little is going to change its profitability and appeal to fans. We're still going to watch. We may have made a mistake in creating a game that in the past intentionally misled and permanently damaged its players with this much momentum to fight against change, both in the aspect of rules and of fandom, but this sport just makes too much money and is probably going to be around for a while. But that is also a discussion for another day.

TL;DR: The Browns sucked today and it made me sad
