Missed this before. The silver thing in top corner is a prototype scene saver. So, I can have all 4 SB2 pedals set to something, hold a button on the scene saver for a second and it will save that scene to whatever program number I have up on the midi controller. I added in the bypass loop so I can have a scene for a specific song recalled that uses a fuzz and a flanger, but only flanging during the chorus or bridge. This way I can keep the flanger sound dialed up on the Orbital and can click it on by hitting the bypass loop.warwick.hoy wrote:So what's going on here?^^^
Technically I could switch between a scene with the flange and one without, but that requires a little extra tap dancing. Also, with a more advanced midi control I could do achieve the same thing, but it would require more "programming" on my end to make it work like I'd want it too, plus it'd be more expensive. The scene saver also has an expression pedal input and Hot Hand input that is sent to all the pedals as well. Quite a nice piece of kit even in its alpha stage. I'm keeping the upper left space for an eventual SB2 BEF and the space above my octaver for another Overdrive or fuzz du jour.
