This is what i do. I like them dirty cleans though.

EDIT:

I just had a guy email me a copy of our song that is up on bandcamp with a synth track mixed in with it asking if he could start playing with us. I like it. We have been talking about bringing in someone to run synth / samples for a bit.
More layers is better layers.

Props to that dude, too. That's a ballsy move.

Agreed, If he's not toolish scoop the dude up. I'd love to have someone do that with us, I dig the organ that blood ceremony has, Just make sure the guy doesn't go to crazy. I think that stuff is at it's best when it is subtle and not going all the time. Maybe get him to work some lights and stage effects like fog or mist as wel to keep him busy ;)

Frig guys, haven't been on here in like a week! So glad to be back full time at work though. Really want to get on day shift though, hate afternoons.

Bought some floor tickets for the ACC Toronto QOTSA show, so stoked. Wasn't stoked on the price but I really wanted to go.

My buddy had me sell his Peavey VTM 60 for him while he's put west working because he bought a 74' Dr103 and he asked me to use the money from the VTM for a Whetstone so I found one for $200 and bought it and now I get to frig around with it for a month. Really cool pedal so far.

Yeah, I'm pretty impressed. I think we're gonna invite him out to practice Thursday and see how it goes.

Yeah, I definitely don't want synth in every song playing through the whole song. To me thats always icing on the cake where a little bit goes a very long way.
I'm hoping that this guy has a little bit of rhythm and can take over doing the tom work that I do during some songs too.

Also, that guitar refinish is pretty sweet.

If anyone wants the whole Cedars record, I can throw it up on the internets for ya--the bandcamp only has two tracks, and it looks like the album's been out of print for almost ten years.
