Last year I had a traumatizing Testicular Cancer scare myself (at the same time as other family illnesses - I know how you feel), had to go through multiple tests and numbered Ultrasounds, one was a false reading. I'm reluctant to say that I was glad that it ended up being a cyst which was not at all pleasant. I'd continue as I have bad luck but i'll spare the details.

Ultrasounds are very good at diagnosing Tumours, Torsions etc, treating everything else related is the difficult part. Though, this sort of Cancer is much more common in Younger Males, noting that you mentioned that you had a Vasectomy would mean that it would be less likely that you're in the potential risk age group. But Early detection is best with any form of problem. From what I know and have been told, Cancer isn't likely to cause pain and swelling is the biggest foremost indicator. Pun intended.




Still, if it's just inflammation then lots of water and Omega 3.

I afraid. Very, very afraid. The reason being is that recently, in the last month, I found a lump above my right testicle. It's a hard but movable lump that kind of feels like it's in my vas deferens. I had a vasectomy six or seven months ago, so I'm sure if it has something to do with that. I've read online that your vas deferens can become clogged with semen after a vasectomy. It could also be some kind of infection. Or worst case scenario, I have testicular cancer. Enter the fear.

I didn't quite read through the entire thread so my apologies if this has been covered. I'm headed into work but at least wanted to touch on this. Having had a vasectomy about 3 years ago. The lump is normal for this type of procedure. I still have them three years later. Seem logical. You have some surgeon go in and cut a bit of your plumbing out and it is replaced with scare tissue.

You will also experience a little dull pain from time to time. It's uncomfortable and I've seen a doctor on the matter. Just use Ibuprofen to deal with the pain.

With that said, it may be worthwhile to go see a doctor just to put your mind at ease and get proper advice from some better qualified than some nutter on the internetz.

Warwick, that really makes sense, and I'm hoping you're right. I read about that issue as well and thought for sure it's that. I'm just scared because it's in my sack.



So I feel I should tell you all the origin of when I first noticed the lump. I was having sex with my wife and I was in a rather, compromising situation (we're kind of freaks...what can I say...she'll kill me if she reads this). Anyway, I kind of racked myself on her leg and then when I completed (bust a nut for the laymen lol), it hurt, like fucking hell. I found the lump after that.

It may also be noted that during the same day I leg pressed a thousand pounds (after already leg pressing for 150 reps at weight from 500-900 lbs...I was doing high rep reverse pyramids if that means anything to anyone). So I don't know if that somehow contributed??? Who knows.

It hasn't grown in size or anything like that, but it's uncomfortable, annoying and sometimes painful.

I rescheduled my appointment to September 16th so I could make sure my insurance takes effect first. I have to be damn sure I have it just in case worst comes to worst, you know.
