Anyone given Lesbian's Forettelevision a spin yet?

I have, and they are awesome. I didn't find myself going back to it though and thought they were way better live. It is very good! and I think a lot of you would dig it, but for me it was something to listen to, appreciate the musicianship and artistry and then not really want to listen to over and over like I do when something really grabs me.

Do give it a listen. this is just my take and even if you get what I got I think hearing the composition and playing and everything they do is money well spent.

Alright guys I am super excited because I just finished my newest build! I did most most of it myself with a little technical help from Nick when I had a question. But besides the faceplate I built it all myself; drilled the chassis, layout, built the shell etc. I took a matamp gt100 schematic that Nick gave me and combined it with a gro100 schematic and through in the vox hi cut that electric amps uses as their presence control. I also expanded the FAC control (labeled deep) ala duniwch so that it has 12 positions instead of the 4 or 6 that are usually on there in matamps or oranges. Thanks for all the support guys. I am really proud of it so far and hope that it can stand up to a full band practice. Hopefully there are not any or very few little gremlins hiding in there somewhere that I need to fix. I took a lot of time to make sure all the solder joints were solid so there would be no loose connections. I will try and get some sound clips and even better, some video in the next week or so.

Holy fuck awesome show tonight. we played first and I got to enjoy CFA and Mahnhammer just fucking tearing it up. had a blast. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow. Mike, fuck yeah dude. when you mashed that string and just kept going and then finished off with takata's lp. good fucking shit man. I hope you guys got what ya needed for recording. so kickass. what a fucking set that was.

I had another idea for a cool EGC. Imagine a neck-thru, fretless (not sure of the headstock because he probably can't do the full scroll but that would be amazing). Aluminum body but lucite would also be cool, maybe a smoked lucite. But somebody besides Eastwood needs to bring back the Ampeg Scroll bass (the vintage ones are awfully pricey considering that many have playability issues).

plays amazballs. never ever spending the money on gibsons again. I can find these all day long for 200 to 300$ and theyre AMAZING. play better sound better and already dripping with mojo.
