The Supermoon sounds amazing. I'd get the chrome version from PGS if I bought another one though... the regular version wasn't wet enough for me. It only gets 50% wet, while the chrome can do 100%

Another band my drummer's in (which he plays guitar/sings for) uses flanger a fair bit, and it makes me wish I hadn't've sold my Boss BF-2.

K so I found almost a thousand dollars in one of my old wallets.

I don't even know how it got there. It's definitely my wallet, and I haven't used it in a few years, but either way my gear budget just got a huge surplus!

Or so I thought.

My laptop keeps dying for no apparent reason out of the blue. Some websites are suggesting it's a fan problem, so I might try cleaning my fans out tonight if I can reach that area without voiding the warranty (I don't even remember if the fucking warranty hasn't expired yet) so it's pretty likely that I'll need to use this gear budget to fund a new laptop.

Again. Just like last summer.

Worst of all I'll probably lose whatever data that's on the HDD, including the contents of my nearly-finished second album.

Fudgenuggets.

Get an external HD ASAP and use it before you fuck with your computer.

what are the symptoms? blue screen crashing, suddenly power loss?
depending on the model the fans can be hard to access. sometimes you can very carefully use a vacuum cleaner to suck the crap out of the vents.
but very carefully as there's delicate connections inside.
they do get clogged with fluff and dust and cause overheating, also try not to use the laptop flat on the bed etc, make sure there is airflow all around it.

also with most, if not all, laptops, the harddrive slots in from the side and is removeable/replaceable. you should be able to stick it in an external drive caddy and access it from another computer, if the worst comes to the worst

Check into your warranty too, if it hasn't expired you're golden.

And seriously, nearly a grand in an old wallet? That's nuts.

Aye, I already have one ready to transfer everything over; the problem is the computer crashes before I can transfer anything significant over.

I'm praying that my warranty hasn't expired - first I need to find the papers or remember my password to the site we used a year ago.

It beeps very loudly, repeatedly (first it was out of nowhere, and now every time I turn it on the beeps return immediately) until crashing to black. Occasionally it will make a loud WHOOOOSH as the fans rev up like they usually do when I play games on it, but I'm just at the desktop or even logging in.

It's unfortunate timing too, since school starts in 2 weeks... :picard:

Also I'm as surprised as everyone that there was that much lying around in an old wallet. I'm usually on top of shit like that. :picard:

I'm stressin'.

All right, I've got another Hovercraft Ionostrofear coming in the mail. Hopefully this one shows up.

Also coming: Death Dealer from Arcane and a Warthog from LaoWiz. Fuck, I love the Shark Tank.

EDIT: I've got a bunch of Takashi Miike movies coming, too. Mmmm.....

RIGHT ??? FUCKIN RIGHT DUDE??? WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT I WANT DEAD OR ALIVE AND BLACK SOCIETY AND CROWS ZERO EVERYTHING THAT MAKES ME GO YAAAAAAAAAAAAY

I honestly thing the fact that dvds are still around is a sad commentary on our culture. The local walmart drastically scaled back the bluray section in favor of dvds because trailer trash refuse to buy blurays. Like they arent even that much more, am i the only person who remembers media prices in the 90s???? Everyone cries these days when a movie is over ten bucks but forgets that in 1997 cds were like 25 dollars.
