So I gave Prymaxe another chance and am super happy with my H9 that I received.

Here's the problem though. They are dicks. I'm not going to stand by and watch them treat builders like Tom like shit. He's not the first either. Fuck them. They have all his shit on clearance plus you can use 16% off. They knocked 50 bucks off most of his pedals just to make a point of some sort. Like we're all stupid and won't support Tom.

I say let's take a stand here ILF. Fuck Prymaxe Vintage. They have shit customer service and care apparently less for their suppliers than for their customers.

I will NOT buy from them again. Ever. I would rather save money to buy what I want than deal with some dick trying to control the market. I so fed up with them. Complete assholes.

Anyway, rant over. Do what you will, but they aren't getting my hard earned cash anymore.

I see where you're at, large companies aren't Tom, but the logic goes for them as well. They've got their profit margins worked out, and if their shit is constantly getting pegged at 15% lower than normal it's gotta squeeze them as well, which in the end isn't good for us consumers either.

i just.... i just got greedy. i didn't feel right buying 2 H9's at $550 (what they would be with tax which is everywhere i could find it in stock), but each at $420 was doable.

No worries behnders - I've been playing a heap of Boss stuff lately and have just come to really respect them - I mean, their gear would last a zombie apocalypse, it's priced cheaply, you can usually get a lot of sounds out of a little box, it sounds consistent - it's just super well designed stuff. Same with a lot of the bigger dudes - Eventide, TC etc. They're pushing the envelope in their own way, and I don't think they're overpriced. I think having guys like Tom, Ryan, Taylor et al is also great as they are bringing something unique to the table sonically and push the envelope in their way, and offer a level of service and customisation that is of course impossible with bigger companies.

This whole affair stinks - it bones the ILF dudes, and the bigger dudes - and Tom is sticking up for what's right, and that's not easy to do. Mad props. I wish Boss would ring up Prymaxe with their team of ninja lawyers and lay down the law.

I do get sick of all of these fly by night dudes downloading a schematic from freestompboxes and starting a pedal company to sell poorly soldered
"transparent" ODs at 200 bucks a pop though. They can sell their shit at prymaxe as much as they want.
Prymaxe, now delivering transparent tone (tm), 15% all year round.
