recommend space6oy some outer space flicks!

Post by space6oy »

preferably ones you actually dig, not just cheesy B-movie goofy stuff please.
bring 'em!
:doom:

ones i have & love:
moon
alien, aliens, alien 3
solaris (both versions)
sunshine
starship troopers (yup, guilty...)
contact
the martian chronicles (one of my favorite books, haven't watched the entire movie yet though...)
pandorum (had, need to get again)
serenity & firefly

probably some others i'm forgetting, plus some oldies like plan 9 from outer space, 2001 space odyssey, brain from planet arous, barbarella etc.

also of course up for aliens coming to earth...

seen it, but a long time ago... dug it but wasn't particularly fond of how they altered the story it's based on...

Marooned, Alien, and Galaxy of Terror. I really like the 50's - 70's sci-fi flicks. Alot of them are going to be cheesy, but they're fun.

i love alien & all its followups. except alien vs. predator, that was pretty lamely done...
will have to look up those other two. i'm gonna make a list in my first post of ones i love once i get home tonight.

It came from outerspace is actually pretty good. Are you looking for films that take place in space or that have space/alien sci-fi elements. The day the earth stood still is a classic if that's something you're interested in, aliens on earth that is.

mainly hoping to find stuff that takes place in space (or on another planet or a moon...) but i'm open to aliens on earth too. i have the day the earth stood still, it's a classic, but pretty slow for me.

pandorum is another i love! wish i could get my copy of that back from an ex... :grumpy:
