Seeing Oldboy alone in an empty cinema on the last day of a film festival with no idea about anything going in, is one of my favourite movie memories. Just an awesome thrill ride.

I can't fathom the appeal of Sofia Coppola's work, or how anyone makes any sense of Harry Potter with having read the books, seriously those films are a mess.
Also James Bond does not deserve to be the longest running film franchise ever. Just break off the fucking cyanide tooth and die already.

ugh. jelly. i have an a'ight Home Media Viewing Setup, a 60 inch intravision and decent surround sound. but there are bunches of movies i would love to have seen in a theater. most of Miike Takashi's stuff for sure.

lol. looooooove Descent. dunno if i would as much if i didn't go to see it by myself in a theater that there was like 4 other people in.

HOW CAN YOU EVEN SAY THAT. IT'S SO GOOD. EVERYTHING PARK CHAN WOON HAS DONE IS A THING OF BEAUTY AND WONDER.
I didn't say it was bad.

It just doesn't stand up to the lavish amount of praise the way a film like Chinatown does.

the harry potter series was sweet.
pixar is fucking awesome.
clint eastwood - million dollar baby & gran torino, both fucking awesome.
robin williams - yeah he's a fruitcake nutjob, but post popeye - good morning vietnam. enough said there, but also dead poets society, hook, ferngully, aladdin, mrs. doubtfire, jumanji, GOOD WILL HUNTING, AI, DEATH TO SMOOCHY, INSOMNIA - i'm stopping there. WAKE UP.
werewolves - ALL OF THE UNDERWORLD FLICKS
casablanca & the original wizard of oz are fucking classics. & rightfully so.

Incredibles ended in a prime spot for sequels...and it was one of the better animated movies in the past decade. Plus SAMUEL L JACKSON!

Wall-E ended where any subsequent movies would probably be a preachy, crushing bore.
Pretty safe to say that test audiences would reject a premise of cleaning the polluted planet and the life lessons/misadventures that come with it for 90min or more...

Every Shrek and Toy Story (excluding the first ones) have been nothing but merchandizing vehicles for dozens of cross-brand promotion.
Cars didn't need a sequel....or 2....either...especially without Paul Newman & George Carlin.

WTF. Oliver & Company and Who Framed Roger Rabbit are not overrated.
And Meet The Robinsons is extremely underrated...as is The Incredibles, apparently...
who framed roger rabbit is another fucking awesome movie. groundbreaker for a big budget flick incorporating live action and animation.

yes, fucked up dude, but he has some great flicks. the ninth gate is one of my favorites. death and the maiden is fantastic too. ghost writer was good. the pianist was good. rosemary's baby was good until the ending, fucking hated the ending...

sonidero wrote:Transformers, Fast and Whatever, Johnny Depp, Will Farrell, and Tyler Perry all need to leave now...
the non-animated transformers flicks are repulsive. hate them so much for doing that.
johnny depp though, is still fucking awesome and probably will be forever.

Even though I haven't seen it of even watched a preview, I'm saying Ted, from what I've heard from people that think it is awesome it sounds dumb as fuck to me.

Oh and no I actually hate pixar, most of the rest was troll'n, but pixar is very overrated to me.

wall-e to me was the best, but the others are just not very interesting to me, and I hate Randy Newman songs, if you like them then cool, it's just not me. And While I LOVE the underworld movies, the werewolf parts aren't still as amazing as what I hope some day someone will do with the idea
