Overrated movies?

I'm a big fan of movies like pacific rim, 300, and the expendables. They are exactly what they tell you they'll be: overblown, ridiculous action flicks.

300 is awesome just for all the homoerotic imagery.

Rises was bad. long and boring and too many characters and i didn't care about any of them and THE FUCK DID BAND HAVE TO SOUND LIKE A MUPPET SEAN CONNERY FOR. MUPPETS AREN'T INTIMIDATING OR SKEERY.

Tom Hardy is hellza dope though. Bronson is.... odd. tried to be way more high minded than the writers/director were capable of. but it was interesting in parts. and that's all Hardy.

2001 is a good movie with a total letdown of a nonsensical ending. i've seen it a number of thime, and every time i do and the astronaut wakes up in that bedroom i'm all "WTF???"

oh boy here's one i'll catch shit for - i've tried watching eternal sunshine of the spotless mind three times. CANNOT. STAND IT.
so fucking boring and annoying i can't make it through it.

also date night is the only thing i've been able to tolerate steve carrell in.
also old school is the only good thing will ferrell has done.
maybe i have an issue with the "rell..."


oh yeah, i also couldn't get into arrested development. & i totally dig jason bateman.
i wish david cross had never done anything other than mr. show though. same fucking thing over and over and over...

Will Ferrell is awesome at making funny ass previews for movies that should only be 7 minutes long. he sucks in long form.

Steve Carrell is annoying as dry butts. he was a'ight in 49 Year Old Hairy Chest, but the only thing i've liked him in was Despicable Me.
