one of the top of my head..... Citizen Kane. i get it. it's an okay idea. it's just BORING.

SOON AS I READ THE THREAD TITLE AND SAW WHO MADE IT I KNEW YOU'D BE TALKING MESS ABOUT THE 5TH ELEMENT AND OF COURSE IT IS THE FIRST THING YOU MENTIONED.
TIME TO JUST LET IT GO AND ACCEPT THE FACT IT RULES DESPITE THERE BEING ANYONE IN THE MOVIE WITH AN IDEA OF WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH REGARD TO THE PREMISE.

Speaking of which, Avatar was good but really overrated.

American Psycho tops the list of most overrated movies, for ending alone.
And SAW as a series? Didn't SEE other than clips via YT. Don't care, either. Completely forgettable.

Maybe other people will disagree but I thought Donnie Darko was overrated. I mean, it was okay at most. But everyone I know thinks it is the best movie ever.
Like, I wouldn't want to watch it again.

2001: A Space Odyssey is at the top of my disappointing movies list.

I kept waiting for there to be, y'know, dialogue, or action, or character development. I can appreciate the cinematography and pioneering special effects and whatnot, but man was that movie too long and too slow-paced.
