Basically the only people who are gonna pay sales tax on an EGC are people who actually live in Florida.

Yeah, I learned about that a couple of years ago. I guess that's why online sales are so popular; because someone from Cali can buy a pedal from PryMaxe in NJ and not pay any sales tax.

I was pissed when Amazon started collecting sales tax this year. It almost made me want to buy things in the real world again...

I heard about that. Why did they do it? Maybe they were 'asked' to do that to stop monopolizing the market and help encourage high street shopping and whatnot. Amazon don't necessarily monopolize. I'm no expert in the business field. I just think they've consumed the market.

I think the government was pressured by businesses to level the playing field a bit, so they made it start collecting tax. Amazon's prices are still way lower than anything you can find in a retail store: I routinely see $50 books selling for $26 on Amazon.

Yeah, Amazon is consistently cheaper than elsewhere. It's hard to compete with that, especially seeing as they stock almost everything.

I just got my Access Virus B.

Me playing it with my Dingwall AB1>Yamaha G-50. I don't have a hex pickup right now so it's monophonic.

There's an FZ-2 on local craigslist for $60 but it's on the other side of town and I dunno if I feel like it.
