Strats with the middle and neck pickups selected yeilds my favorite tones. I still wish I had mine.

I've never played a Strat I liked but I've heard some great tonez from others with 'em. Jazzmasters and Teles all day long for me as far as Fender is concerned. Oh, and a Bass VI. :thumb:

That said, my CS Jazzmaster sports a '57 Strat neck. It's pretty thick with jumbo frets. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT NECK!

I have a love/hate relationship with my MIA Strat. But no matter what I don't think I will let it go. They can sound like total shite or cool as fuck. Unfortunately most people make them sound like shite.

The neck on mine is perfect. Can't imagine finding a better one. I'd get another Strat just to steal the neck and use it on something else.

I love my partscaster strat. sounds great with just nameless pickups, it is wired for series parallel switching so you can use position 2 and 4 for humbuckin

yeah my MIM strat is a beast
basically the 57 is a factory version of what I did to mine (with a real paint job!!!)
I have had it for 15 years now and it will never be sold
