Sorry devs, just making it by over here. Was the custom shop hatched to ease the financial situation? Either way, fucking genius.

40k still seems like a lot to me for FFS... generally it costs about 8-20K total. I'd double check the prices just to be safe, even see if there's anyone you missed that might do it cheaper.

There are of course some crazy tricks you can do - like if you moved to Canada, the UK or somewhere like that for 2 years, you may be able to get some degree of it on the health service(or at least the SRS).

I really don't know about the financial stability thing :( I kind of understand as I'm worried about securing the money for SRS.

I doubt there's a 6 month recover time. That's nuts. Maybe for all the scars to completely fade but it's more like 2 realistically, which is still a very long time if you think about it.

I'm very interested to see how this FFS turns out alright so I hope Devi gets the funds together. Though I also hope she finds a way to get it done a bit cheaper :(

I think this came up before, but would it be possible for you to move to a place with cheaper rent? Rent should have fallen since the start of the recession so you might get a bargain.

I'd look into money saving things like that. It all adds up - you wouldn't want to come up 200 bucks short and end up with a half assed nose or something.

If I ever win the lottery or come into money or anything I'll definitely give some to fund this... and buy every Devi Fuzz ever too of course :P

Wow, 40K? I could buy a house and a nice car for 40K here in Texas D; and still have money left for a nice TV probably. Or a Wii <3

I'm not sure what to do to help you get a loan for FFS. I think I know which doc you are going to. He has a great track record.

I had 16k worth of FFS last October. Honestly, I'm still recovering. The tip of my nose is still numb, as is the top of my head. I then had SRS in April. FFS was definitely worse from both a surgery and recovery standpoint. I was able to pay cash for a good part of my FFS. The rest is still being carried on credit cards. I was lucky enough to get insurance to pay for 2/3 of my SRS bill. But I'm still paying that off too.

As I am currently unemployed, I'm not in a position to help you much. I'm planning to buy one of your fuzz pedals when I get another job. So I'm here to do some research on that.

I can offer moral support. PM me if you want to talk.

Man FFS is scary I guess you have to be pretty brave to have it :idk:

I don't think I'll get any, I guess I'm lucky I'm not overly masclune feature wise but I do have a very stark jawline.
