Bought Torchlight 2 in the sale today, it's really fun so far! I liked the first one and it's pretty much more of the same but more polished, which is cool with me when I got it so cheap. The new pets are all totes adorbz, mine is Al Pacino the alpaca.

I think the neckbear titfetish has its place, but im really getting tired of it in every single game too. Especially games like mass effect and the witcher. Could you find a more childish approach to sexuality than those two games exhibited???

That being said, i tend to be gay every chance i get in games. In dragon age two i totally put it in fenris. Also im married to a guy in skyrim.

I tend to play asexual females, that probably says something...

Though I wouldnt say that Mass Effect has an abundance of sexualised characters. Maybe one single character with Father issues, which is related to the plot. You can say its a grey area but technically it's warranted.

Other characters are obviously more personality based than physically, ie being Aliens or being the only Humans on ship. Still I can imagine that ships would be in a way incestuous. I guess that it worked out that way and ofcause character models were slightly altered but nothing obscene.

I liked Witcher but there's no denying the adult themes, but they're not going it for sales. Theyre just European.

The way these games approach sexuality just fucking screams about the developers are really inexperienced in that department. I understand that theyre game designers but fuck dude youre pdumping millions in the game youd think they could get one writer that didnt marry the first girl to touch his dick.

But then take christine. Im not a fan of puzzle games and i didnt play a whole lot of it, but of what i played, the actual game had a smart understanding of a males sexuality without the exhausting muscle bound dickhead mentality that permeates all levels of most main characters in video games today. I read an article about a feminist gamer one time talking about how pissed she was at the portrayal of women in video games. Its like...take a fucking number. Im a man playing games made by men for men and the only characters i feel some connection with are the japanese and the silent avatars i make in rpgs.
