The LSTR is pretty cool, kinda like a standard BMP in terms of basic tone control but with gain for days. Even cooler your neighbor plays with Wino and had his LSTR haha, small world.
The bax tone stack on the Pharaoh makes it a true crusher, such a unique muff, but it's not a high gainer by any means. The tones though, WOW! That said, the BAT stuff (and most other muffs I love) really shine at high volume. That's where they finally start to come alive, def sound kinda boring a lower/bedroom volumes. I had Mark build me a custom too with LSTR gain range, Pharaoh bax stack, FAC control, scoop, pre-gain, like every option I ever wanted on a muff. It's badass.
The closest things I know of to a "destroyer" muff would be that custom or the Supercollider and Blunderbuss, just tons of gain and tonal variety. You should take it to the next level. Or maybe make a pimped out IC Muff, don't see many of those around...
