i am confused. and so damn ig'nant about basses. what makes a Shorty fun?

they.... they freak me out. i rarely need 2 octaves above an open string, but it hurts my brain that some basses don't finish what they started fret wise.

I don't have very long fingers / big hands, and my pinkies curve inward so my reach kinda sucks.
For me it's just easier to play, especially power chords.

Just improve your technique! You won't regret it

lol. i have big hands and i have shitty tequnique with my pinkie. the dooder i've been taking lessons from corrects me ever 6 minutes. said it'll take at least a year to get better at it. but it does shorten my reach a bunch.

ugh. the H9 is GOOD. the interface with an ipad is fucking AWESOME. i'm not in love with $20 an algorithm, but there's 3-4 models on there i like a lot, which, honestly, with a mulit efx box is pretty par for the course. you DO get a free dl for registering, so that puts the main patch i use back on there. and it's neat that you can demo and algo for 5 minutes.

i'm kinda thinking about getting a second one.
