axman lets see them other two guitars baby
judging by the chinese ric i got
i would totally get a body shape i liked
and break that fucker down
id definately go for a bolt on though
i always wanted to put 12 strings through my setup
i think it would sound just humungous
but i can barely wrangle 6 at this point

not gonna spoil your brain teaser dday
which way you think them jacks will be aimed
and what is that big square thing on there
i know next to nothin about circuits
but i know ive never seen that before

Aww thanks man
With what I paid for it, it could be a very smashable guitar

Also you could get a secret announcement offa this photo if you look carefully. I'm pretty sure you heard it here first.

Ryan, the jacks'll be up at the top like the old one. Supposedly the enclosure will be of the same width but just a bit shorter. Sorta like when I'm with the ladies. They all say the width is good but they'd like it just a bit shorter.

Yep :thumb:
I'm looking forward to it. So far everyone who has heard our stuff has been so positive about it, to an unexpected level. It's been really cool. Playing that Sacred Church of Universal Music (S.C.U.M.) bbq/ sneak peak was a great idea. we have a few more gigs lined up from doing that. I hope we can get on a bill with you guys at some point, would be rad.

I am 100% sure that you will be on a bill with us. I'd be surprised if it didn't happen by the end of the year.

So yeah new Soldano GTO pedals. The board on the top is just a redesign of the original. Which was originally called the 'Top Fuel' before it was released. I still think these are the best bass fuzz in the history of bass fuzzes.

Its one of those chinese knock off things and I'm sure its crap and would need a bunch of work to be useable, but I can do that work, and it looks like it would be a solid starting platform. Some locking tuners, fret dressing and new electronics and off I go. I looked and cannot find any made in usa equivalent to what this appears to have. Talk me out of it guys. Oh yeah, its only 300 bucks.

for 300 id buy it and do the work too hahaha, hell Maybe I will get one ive been gassing for a 12 string elecrtic and dont have time to build one...SCREW YOU MAN draggin me down with you

If you guys do it and go with the trem on one, LOCKING TUNERS! Thats what makes it work IMO. Lock the strings in and minimum wraps around the post and it stays pretty good even under tremolo abuse.

Just got off the phone with Jeff of Murrow Custom Woodworks. This cab is going to be sick. Going with an egyptian theme for the carvings on the sides. Idea is to have it look like an old temple or a relic from a tomb. Still working out some details but I'm hoping to have some mock ups soon. I'll start a thread about it once physical progress starts. we're thinking having the speakers mounted in a v inside the cab to save room like sunn used to do is going to be the way to go. Trying to make 4 12s and 2 15's all fit in an ampeg fridge sized enclosure.
