because dextromethorphan is nasty no matter what you do? it's like trying to make caffiene tasty...the best you can do is bury it in sugar to overload the taste buds.

Well, there's a reason besides taste that drank fans like the RX stuff. The RoboDose and other OTC stuff have an emetic that kicks in unpleasantly at sufficient dosage. (The RX don't AFAIK.) Which I gather doesn't mean that you don't trip, but it makes it an unpleasant one.

Personally every time I take any cough syrup/nyquil/gross think medicine stuff, I think of Jager.

And I love Jager so it goes down a little easier.

But I tend to love licorice and strong molasses so...
