Dude wanted $30 for the entire unit, but I only had $10 so I pulled these guys out and we called it even, stoked to give the Amperex a try in V1 on the Meathammer, tube on the very right is a Tung-Sol with a square looking getter, first Tung Sol I have ever seen the words "Made in USA" on:
The best $10 you'll ever spend on tubes. Well done. Send me a PM if you're interested in trading, I've got a decent stash of old glass along those lines.
SO, fedex decided to deliver my brand spankin' new amp to a completely unrelated person who shares my last name, much to mine and Nick's horror. Luckily, it was really no problem at all to walk over and get it, it just sucked carrying that beast back but it's safe and sound. This means only one thing - BLASTING THIS SUCKER TONIGHT.

As soon as I'm off work this is going down, along with any buildings in a 200 yard radius. Cheers fellas.

My Strymon's will probably go up tomorrow. They seem to be going for a bit over $400 used so I figure I'll put them at $400 with free shipping and maybe $175 for my DMC-6L. My Moog's will be here tomorrow (thank you Amazon prime for your near instant gratification). I'm a little worried about fitting 3 of them, a volume pedal, a Space and a couple of dirts on a Pedaltrain. I've also got practice tomorrow so I'll get to try them out in a band context immediately. I have the older MuRF that isn't midi so time-sync'd stuff is going to be tricky but that's not really my thing anyways. Part of what won me over is the the combination of richness in the Moog pedals and the ability to get completely out of control and do crazy noise stuff which is always fun.
300$ to get the redbear back into the game and ready for the apocalypse. fuuuu no new guitar for me.
but yeah 12 string or hollow body is for this idea me and a buddy have. everytime were gonna jam "teh heaviest doom evar" it becomes a psychodelic (fuck spelling) 90000 journey through doom, drone and noise. pretty sure its a winning combo. soo I think the 12 would fit better too. so does the wife. but god those hofner verythins are so fucking sexXxy
BUT redbear fix is #1 on my priority list. now if i could just move some shit so i can blow it on cheap agiles, an re-20 and a korg monotribe.
good deals with Noise. . .guitmatt, magiclawnchair, delaydecay, Fuzz_Pi, nixhex113, theAntihero, Ancient Astronaught, bigchiefbc, jwojtysiak, neonblack, osbornkt
