I went to guitar center to return one of those shitty little Marshall micro amps and found a used Orange Crush combo for $50. Sounds decent, the cleans are pretty sweet. Now I have something for playing around with at home while both of my amps are at the practice space. Right about the time I was leaving I saw a fucking Tele Deluxe in the used section too. Couldn't contain myself and walked out with it. Got it home and went to change the strings and my .56 won't fit in the slot on the tuning post. What size bit should I use to drill it out with? As a result of that gear purchase I must let go of my SG. Don't want to, but I kinda spent some of the money I had put back to fix my Ranger

Serial Hawk fucking rules. Been jamming their cd in my truck for months now. I need to stop being lazy and order the vinyl version.

I would not volunteer to move that. My bandmates already give me a dirty look when I suggest that I use my 1x15 in addition to my 4x12.ryan summit wrote:fuck yeahAxAxSxS wrote: 4x12+2x15 fridge. .

Tell them not to worry cause your 412 makes a good purse table for them.dazedbyday wrote:I would not volunteer to move that. My bandmates already give me a dirty look when I suggest that I use my 1x15 in addition to my 4x12.ryan summit wrote:fuck yeahAxAxSxS wrote: 4x12+2x15 fridge. .

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
I'm considering selling my Möbius and Timeline in favor of a pair of Moogerfoogers (delay and Clusterflux) and I already have the MuRF. I don't really use either pedal beyond fairly basic delay and modulation and I'm terrible with saving presets. I'll still keep my Eventide Space so I can have that shimmer effect which I'm probably overusing. Should I be talked down from the ledge or allowed to break at least some of the chains of my digital masters and jump? My life has devolved to an existential crisis of guitar gear.

MF104M is a beautiful delay, probably if you could only have 1 delay box that would be mine.

Sound great but I just could not see myself spending that much for the moog so I got skips echo shifter which sounds not as good by cost me 500 bucks less.
Dilemma what should I go to tonight bongripper or deafheaven? Mos likely the last show to either one this year here in Chicago. Either way m friend wants me to go see deafheaven but I've never even listened to much of them

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
I have never seen bonripper live (though I would really love to,) I have seen deafheaven twice. Both times they were great and the first time that I saw them was actually the first I had heard them. It is what got me into them. They played with gholas that time. If you like the black metal mixed with ambient post rocky stuff then I would say check them out, you should have a good time. Especially if they won't be coming around your way again any time soon. Isn't bongripper from chicago? Thus your chances of seeing them again sometime soon are greater.sergiomunoz74 wrote:Sound great but I just could not see myself spending that much for the moog so I got skips echo shifter which sounds not as good by cost me 500 bucks less.

Ah Conky that blows.
I agree with summit, but would suggest that we extend the privilege of theme songs to, well almost everyone.
Oh yeah, that eqd depths pedal will be $195 come September. I am all over that like....something suss.
The arpanoid arpegiator will be $225. Can't wait to see the demos for that.
Finished writing the body of my Frankenstein essay last night, thank fuck. Tired as shit today, just gotta get through work and format it before handing it in. Relief.

That's cool man, situations like that don't happen too often. I like the way you guys are coming along, considering you're still in relatively early days, it is super fucking impressive.
I downloaded Serial Hawk's EP today. What have I been doing with my life?

I kinda want to read this. And fuck yeah, Theme songs fro every one. I've been toying with the idea of a personal pa so you can blast your theme song when you walk into a bar or whatever. I've been hung up on the whole weight vs $ issue. Would be a cool thing to sell to the bro crowd especially.Iommic Pope wrote:Ah Conky that blows.

Tonight fucking ruled a bit. We played the new Ministry of Sound (Church of the Riff) and can say we are the first band to do it. The place is killer.
Outside, everything looks like this-

Inside, full kitchen in the back-

FUCKING TUCK AND ROLL BAR!!!!

Stripper pole, hells yeah. they have plans to extend the stage all the way across the back wall.

It's a work in progress, and we played outside for free for a bbq/space christening thing, I had a blast and then we went to a CFA show, which is always badass and hilarious. Fuck pain and suicide, shit rules.
I am drunked and need to be ordained as a riff priest. That is all
