lost my nona a few years back
not sure about your family
but there was an obvious changing of the guard
i still wonder if im makin her proud
bein italian adds a touch more of that catholic guilt
i mean she told me shes gonna be watchin
All of this is so very Italian it makes me smile
My Mom has assumed the matriarch role now.
I don't have the guilt
Since I was her favorite
So as long as I kept my hair cut
And didn't say fuck
She was always proud
My Mom is where the guilt comes in
Which is weird
Because she hasn't been Catholic for decades
I really like typing like this.

2) Told ya!
3) I'm so sorry bro, both my grandmothers died before I was ten and I barely knew them at all. I feel for you bro.
4) Dude LP vs Tele is a tough choice, I'd make a recommendation but I'm sure you all ready know what it is.
5) Wait till 30 brah, it gets even more unexciting... almost depressing. Sweet score!!! My wife would have kept that for herself hahaha

Seems like the time might be right to jump ship then. Fuck all that. Plus good parts guys are hard to find - you shouldn't have much trouble finding new work.
Yep - everyone told me. And everyone was right.
Thanks
The complicated part of the choice is that the tele is like a Deluxe, so it has humbuckers. And I don't know if a Bigsby copes well with dropped tunings. BUT IT'S GREEN. So I really want it.
Hahaha. So I've been told.

Her family and most of her village were killed by the nazi's and she only lived because she had been chasing down a stray lamb. She made it to the states on her own and made a life or herself here. I learned how to properly cook from her and although I only knew her for a short time she was one o those people who left a lasting impression on me and positively impacted my life.
The world needs more sassy Italian ladies, not less.
On a lighter note, I fixed my Sunn 1200s and its back to being awesome. The faulty cap was failing in a big way and the bubbling end was extremely deformed. I'm glad I caught it before it failed more drastically!
That's such a cool and heavy story. I think everyone should have an Italian grandma. Or a black grandma. Because they are pretty much the same with different food.
Okay. I will stop talking about Nana now. Small Italian women are the anti-doom. Thanks for the kind words everyone. Makes me all warm and fuzzy on the inside.
