Robert: For all Your Prog Fuzz and Garage Needs

Post by V_____ »

When i first came up with this thing I thought it sounded a lot like Robert Fripp's buzzaround sound so I named it Robert. It does do his darker germanium sounding fuzz tones quite well. However, it also does a lot more. It's great on chords and on both neck and bridge pickup of any guitar I've tried it with. You can do a lot of stuff with this thing from prog to fusion to garage rock to alt rock to psychedelic to blues to pink floyd (friend of mine started doing gilmour type tones immediately with it when he first played it) and I've even done some awesome shoegaze with it.

Why haven't I posted about it before? Good question. That's why I am posting now:

https://soundcloud.com/shoepedals2/shoe ... olo-clip-1 (Some solo wankery)
https://soundcloud.com/shoepedals2/shoe ... olo-clip-2 (more solo wankery)

Oh yeah this pedal also loves being paired with reverbs.

Yep, that's a Sunset. Sort of a Spaghetti western type fuzz.

Oh there's a Robert up on Tonefactor now:
