I have a couple of suggestions on how to make doom better

first of all, dress like these guys:

and second, take some cues from those "epic metal" bands and incorporate some majestic choruses about slaying dragons and shit into your songs

when i go critic, i go raging full-on critic. i can be as mean as Lester Bangs, but not as mean as Dave Marsh. God, i hate Dave Marsh.

I have that cod piece.
Psychedelic sludge could definitely describe a couple of our songs.

I just tried to post about Moss and erased it accidentally. basically, they're bored with doom, too. that's why they only play a couple shows a year. and the new album is apparently faster.

I played the bass part of "Dragonaut" on melodica today.
It was heavy, let me tell you.

I've been using contact mics, which sound fine but feedback way too easily.
Maybe one of those clip-on mics, like for saxophones, but I dunno...through any kind of dirt it would probably still be feedback city.
Times are tough for the fuzzy melodica.
