I gots a spack too and I noticed I keep the tone in the same spot as you.... Most pedals I run the tone wide open, but this thing is loaded with highs.... It does a sweet low gain sound, but honestly the higher gain and volume settings are awesome.

the sounds you could get from the hog and PS3 must be nuts

also: is that a pancake TRS? where did you get it?

I made it out of a 20 foot cable that had a short on one end. I think I got the ends from Radio Shack or something like that a long time ago.

I had The Internet a few years ago and really liked it, but the boost was too much and it needed a tone knob. The Total Spack Vibes seems to recruit all that I felt The Internet needed. It was awesome overdrive with a really gnarly, biting character that no other people had. It just needed to be tameable on a few more levels. I'll definitely be picking up a Spack when I can.

Yeah there's a definite sweet spot on the Spack Vibe Tone control. It gets pretty trebly and crunchy anywhere below. I do sometimes roll it back for more "Cowboy Distortion", as Aen calls it.

putting the TAFM at the end was such a good decision, fuzz after reverb is so tasty, especially with a footswitchable gate
fucking up loops and drums from the looper is fun too

It's looks great, such a cool combination of sizes and colors and personal touches, but I imagine the sounds are too sexy to imagine. I've got so many boners right now.
