I lol'd. Man, now you've really got me considering that 15W mini head they have. It's got all sorts of special features for playing into headphones and shit; sounds like my kinda thing if I decide to part with this G2 and spend some money on something nice.

I have seen that they are doing a 15w single channel head and a 15w studio type head with all three channels and silent usb recording (which would potentially be very handy with the incoming baby).
Tonight I played at pretty low volumes, my wife was in the room watching TV and I was playing during the as breaks...and even at that volume it sounded pretty damn good...again, a lot better than I expected given it s a 120w head.
When I buy one of these I'm blaming it completely on you
And we definitely need clips.
I really want to buy the 15w rack mount deal and try to build a head shell for it

Re: Post Your Rig: Doom Edition
Wait...if you buy it...that means you'll have 3 heads...are you running all three at the same time???
Yeah the 15w looked interesting, but i wanted a head that could go from living room to the stage with a turn of a knob!
I will try and do a clip this weekend. I haven't put anything on my youtube channel for almost a year...so i should start that up again...i'll let you all know when i have it up.

Re: Post Your Rig: Doom Edition

Just got the HOG, expression pedal and the Ritual. I'm surprised I was able to fit it all on my board without having to kick off anything, although I did swap out my Revelation for the Ritual. Would be nice to have both on there.

I love the Small Stone. I've had this one and the black Russian version. I loved the shit out of the Russian one but it was kinda big. I sold it to get this one since it was a little smaller. Sounds really close to the Russian. Really nice and chewy. Don't think I could be without a phaser now. The Sibling looks pretty nice too and it is a little smaller than the Small Stone.

Probably not the best person to comment on phasers since the Sibling is the first one i've owned, but i have to say, it is a damn nice pedal...i am currently running the risk of over using it!

Re: Post Your Rig: Doom Edition
So i did a couple of clips today with the Ironheart...i dont think the thickness comes across that well on the video and camera that i used, but here's the links on youtube if you want to listen:
just the amp:

now with pedals:

Re: Post Your Rig: Doom Edition
Sounds good. I've been doing a bunch of Google'ing on these amps, particularly the little 15 watt one. I like the tone a lot, but I don't know if I like it enough to pay €700 for one. That's a great price, but the 15 watt one is half the price, so I'm tempted.

Re: Post Your Rig: Doom Edition
I got mine second hand for £300, which i think was a really good deal...but i think second hand they go for about £350'ish which i would say is totally worth. The 15w has a lot more bells and whistles for recording and home playing, and if the tone is like this one, then its a winner.

£300 is a great price. I might have to look into the 60 watt version.
