Cool Small Clone too, what did you have modded on it?

ty!
I added a knob to replace the depth switch and the switch now kills the dry signal for vibrato! I think it's kicked off my Malekko vibrato since they are pert near the same sound but the small clone has more going on (larger speed range and chorus). They sound pretty sea sickening on at the same time though.
See here: http://www.ilovefuzz.com/viewtopic.php?f=151&t=34332 for all of my troubles getting it working haha

Ah, DIY, well done! :)
The Malekko Vibrato is pretty nice so I can imagine the Small Clone on vibrato is pretty nice too. :)

So I'll give a little rundown: 2 selectable delay times via a toggle switch, also a footswitch to go between two delay times in whatever mode you are in. Also has a 'rewind' which slams the delay knob backwards and then brings it to the spot it was originally in, which leads for awesome oscillation. Also has a Dwell slam footswitch that creates infinite oscillation and feedback. Dual photo eye with knob to control sensitivity, expression control of feedback. Mono input, dry output and dual mono output :!!!:

I'm thinking about moving things around so its m117 flanger>comp>algal>polypus>organizer>supapuss. I'm also digging the sparkle motion at the end of the chain too :D set to low low bias
Maybe want to try a real nasally wah out front or a vibe by the flanger. Also thinking about replacing my diy comp with something with a few more options. Who knows?
But this can stay for a while. Yes, this can stay.

How are you liking the Supa Puss? I can't stop thinking about these. I need to try one out but till then, give me some thoughts on it.

I really dig it! It's probably my favorite delay to date. :D It's dirty, finnicky, and lofiy all the way.
I would get one new if possible. They never really released a version 2 or anything, they just started fixing the problems of the original. I think they mod older models for free but its still a hassle. I had one of the first runs back in November and there were soooo many problems with it. But now! They're good! I've had this one since about March i think.

okay so. I'm really bad at writing what I think about pedals so I'm just gonna throw random stuff out there
the modulation is pretty gooey delicious. Both knobs have a lot of range. It really adds this floaty feeling to the repeats and they sound like the repeats are doing they're own thing and it meshes really well with the dry signal. But it can get pretty wild too
It feels like it's own instrument at some times. It's really easy to set it to oscillate but just so that it never starts to feedback at ridiculous volumes (although it does that easily too). But it can go on for like minutes... no HOURS with that kind of sound like at the end of Karma Police. At that point it doesn't really sound like original signal anymore but its a cool thing to have going behind the dry signal AND the repeats of what you just played. That's probably what it's best at.
It's a pretty thin sounding delay. There isn't much bass to the delays. But i think I like that. The tone knob gets pretty trebly but can also get some mush going on with it turned down. But still, not that bassy or low endy at all. Which I think is why it meshes well with the dry signal. Cause all the bassyness of the signal can get mushy pretty easily but if there's just trebly stuff trying to be mushy, it just sounds pretty because it's light and airy. And if you're doing rhymthic stuff, all you want is the attack and then it to just be ambienty
The chase mode is a little toooo trippppy sometimes but its wonky and I dig it
It's not the best to just be ambient with. Swells don't last long before they fade away or lose their mojo and get all aqua puss on you. but I bet if paired with a digital delay or big reverb, you can get the lofi and/or dirty and/or airy sounds with the long repeats of the digi delay to get long swells and such. With the ghost echo, it gives it that ambiance and space it needs to send it into ambient territory. But still, not very long repeats.

But even the stuff that sounds like are not good things to hear are why I like it.

This video shows off a lot of the sounds you can get with it and you can hear a lot of the stuff I mentioned. I mostly keep it set kinda like it sounds aroun 2:00 to 2:30 but I move it around a lot.

That's a lotta words looking back at it but ive been asked questions about it before that i didn't really answer very well so maybe this can make up for it :p

Is that an Ikea Gorm shelf? Funny I just bought that same size one, wanted a bigger one than the 3 row I had, and I'm currently painting it a pretty similar color :thumb:

Only te best toanz evar...DOD Death Metal sonidero gave me a while back...it for real sounds awesome though, IMO. I stripped it, then added a gain knob and diode toggle. Debating whether or not I want to do a couple more things to it.

Nice. It's one of my favorites.

+1 on the nice. makes me wanna try one despite being buried in other fuzz & od...
:animal:

Thanks fellows! For those who have one/are interested, the mods are really straightforward. Replace r16/120k (ill have to double check the number) with a 10-20k resistor from lug 2&3 of a 100k pot going to one side of r16's spot, with lug 1 going to the other side. If a better explanation is needed let me know. I can take pics and whatnot too.

As long as you can stuff it back in the bag it's good. That looks like a sweet ambient/post rock setup :thumb:

That's my concern as well, haven't tried it yet but I got a sour gut feeling about that haha. That new vibrato pedal gave me a headache, since I don't wanna go back to the PT-2.. mini is just too sweet. Been waiting for a custom Basic Audio for almost 3 months now and fuzz-less like a lost child
