My sister is very sick

Normally I wouldn't do this, and hope it's not inappropriate. My sister has Lyme disease and has taken a turn for the worse. She has lost around 80lbs to date and can barely walk now or function as a normal human being. She has had Lyme for around 10 years now and all the doctors say is "sorry about your luck". There are no good treatments of Lyme disease and the bastard insurance companies refuse to insure her because she has a pre-existing condition. So she's left to do what? Die because our country's medical system is so fucked that they don't care about people anymore? It's a shitty situation. On top of that we aren't on talking terms (for reasons really not understood by myself). I hurt her feelings at one point and now she won't talk to me. She won't talk to my parents or other siblings either, but I believe it's part of the disease. I've read about how it can affect your mind and cause you to basically go insane. She's in constant pain and it tear me apart. I love her and want her to get better.

So the point of this is: Her husband started a medical fund raiser for her on a website called Youcaring.com

I am asking for anyone who can to search their hearts and make a donation. The amount doesn't matter. If it's a dollar, that's better than nothing. I'm doing what I can as well and donating as much as I can. I am half way tempted to sell all my gear because it's a chance to save my sisters life.

Anyway, I just wanted to share and see if anyone could help. I've always shared this on Facebook and am trying to get as many of my family members as possible to donate as well.

My sister had lyme disease for probably like 6-8 years untreated, we're not sure when she got it. She has had seizures for years, depression and just a whole host of behavioral problems, and she is still seeing the effects from it half a decade later. I totally empathize with you man.
