Oh man, that sounds like so much fun. I did bow hunting for a season, but I haven't done it in a long time; quit once I got my first deer. I didn't find pleasure in getting up early to sit for a long period of time, but I do find pleasure in a nice venison roast :snax: However, going for a hike and shooting at the same time sounds like so much fun, even if I never go hunting again. I'm going to have to look into that more.

Are we only talking competitive sports here? Because my other main hobby other than music and homebrewing is peakbagging/mountain-climbing. Although it's been a couple years since our last big climb out in Montana.

technical face climbing AKA rock climbing and cross country/ all mountain biking.

Both are pretty non-competitive although there is definitely badassedness and small amounts of insanity involved.
