TGP summed up in one post

Post by echodeluxe »

seriously, this post has it all!

GAS got the better of me and I bought an ethos. Should have it by Monday or Tuesday.

I hope these things are worth $500, but I figure I'll never get a chance to find out unless it's in my living room. I've been reading about them and gassing for 6 months and it's not like Guitar Center carries them. Everything I've read about them is a rave review, and last night I tried to use my Black Russian Big Muff and it sounded horrible, so.....

If the wife asks it's gonna be "About a hundred", but I doubt she'll notice it. (That "about a hundred" always worked with motorcycle parts a few years back)

And I bought a Steinberger Spirit last night too I couldn't resist - price was right buy it now and I jumped on it. $175

Hey, isn't Father's Day coming up? And I took my Social Security today, so it's on the gubmint.

Pretty good rationalizing yeah? I give lessons in that if anyone needs them. PHD credentials.

And don't look at me like I'm the only one that bullshits their wife on cost of gear - k?

that....sounds like a terrible thing. It also appears that his wife is less than involved with the finances. I don't even wanna know a woman who don't fucks with a ledger

who cares? if you don't like tgp, don't go there. if you do like it, go look at it, sign up and post there. why worry about it on another forum? i don't really like tgp. it's not my crowd, so i almost never go there. and i never take up space at other forums bitching about it. i mean, i agree, they suck, but fuck it, why waste your time giving a shit? their business, not mine.

Yeah I think the continual bashing of TGP can stop now, it was fun for about a day before it got old. Also echodeluxe, I'm not in any position to tell you how to conduct yourself but considering you represent a business perhaps it would wise to stop stereotyping an entire community in what some would consider a derogatory manner. I'm not sure there is a huge amount of cross over between ILF and TGP but even if people who see don't talk about it they might take note and some folk are REALLY thin skinned. Just some food for thought :idk:.

For the record though I find your posts very amusing.

I stopped ever checking in there after i reading the dire straights "they're censoring the word f*ggot" thread. It wasn't funny, it was fucked. So much homophobia. Tgp censors fuck but not f*ggot, and allows twenty page threads on it.

Yeah...
