Guilty Pleasure musics?

Post by behndy »

i'm pretty open minded about music shtuff i think. i try to listen to bands before rejecting them for being Not A Genre I Dig On if someone recommends them.

but there IS some stupid shit i like some times.

Poe is the one off the top of my head. kinda cheesy pop grrL singing from back when they were looking for the next Sneaker Pimps. who also sound cheesy now, but they're just dated. Poe is dated and that first album was super manufactured to be pop music.

but it still makes me all giggly and warm inside to hear her singing about wanting to be a dolphin.

what's a band or genre of music that people that know you would be surprised to find in your collection? but fuck THEM. that shit makes you happy.

wassat?

Fucking love most anything Eurobeat. The more it makes you feel like you're in an overly-dramatic Initial D scene, the better.
This is pretty much the best thing ever.

Also, John Maus. A man with the ability to harness frightening energy onstage while singing karaoke-style to his own songs, songs that sound like they came straight out of 80's synth hell.

The beegees
Blink 182's Dammit
Justin Timberlake
Bring me the horizon
Limp bizkit's Significant Other
Sonata Artica
