I expected it and wasn't the least bit freaked.

I can't wait for like years from now when the have the long seige of Astapur. That's when I finally really liked the books. Way in the future.

I had that reaction when Jon Snow died, then I skimmed two more pages trying to figure out if I had misunderstood it or something. That's even more sudden: "This is Jon, he's now leader, things are looking up for Jon, THENHEDIES". Well, not exactly, but still. It's like GRRM forgot that he was supposed to kill him in an earlier chapter :D



EDIT: Book.. is it five? Anyway, bad spoiler, don't read it if you haven't finished a lot of books.

I have flagged my non-Season 3/Feast for Crows spoiler as such. Sorry.

At least I take comfort that it's not so bad as NSFW tagged nude pics offending Google-Ad purchasers who are trying to sell Asian sex slaves to ILF-ers. That would just completely mess with their biz.

Not your fault, I've been living dangerously by reading the spoiler posts in this thread, since I haven't read ADWD yet. I'm 2 chapters from the end of AFFC.
