I find that Earth record pretty inspiring. That's the direction I want to move in with my future projects (maybe with a little bit of Songs for the Deaf era QOTSA/Kyuss influence buried in). I'm putting a little something together. Just demoing on my own and learning to play to a click but I've got some friends on board for collaboration.

The drone/physc type of music is typically overlooked in my town. Everyone is into more mainstream metal/rock type stuff, which is fine but not terribly exciting. We have two drone/physc bands in town and they are amazing,...but it's a largely untapped niche.
