I love the Starlight Dlx but have to agree the learning curve is a bit steeper than I'm used to. Regardless, endless possibilities, most of which sound really, really fantastic once you wrap your head around the HUGE amount of functions/options.

OK, so what's the best expression pedal to use with the Starlight DLX?

I've tested the M-Audio and it works well but they're so cheap and flimsy that they'll eventually crap out on ya.
Luckily, Sylnau turned me onto the Source Audio dual Exp pedal and that thing is hard to beat! Around $100, super solid construction, and flexible dual outs. One is always fixed at 50k while the second is adjustable from 50k on down, allowing you to tailor it to a wide variety of exp inputs.

Thanks, Schnikes. I've got a Moog and I'll see if that works. Couldn't find any info on what's compatible. If the Moog doesn't work out, I may have to pick up a Source Audio.

Moog has same value as the Source Audio... it should work fine.

Sounds like an Octasynth met a fuzz and had a threesome with a Prometheus.

Re: New Subdecay - but what???
This new synthy thing sure seems interesting!
I'm wondering whether it will have a LPF with an expression input and separate start / stop frequency knobs for the filter and possibly an attack delay knob (ADSR type control) like an EHX Micro Synth.
Also curious if it will be out this year or later (I hope early this year).
