not really. um. the album she did when she was a kid that was adorable, her big band album Gling Glo and the sorta punk/noise band she was in KUKL.

oh! i think Mum is Icelandic? i adore them. the albums with the 2 grrLs are my favoritestestestest that they did.

But, yeah, I think she sounds typically Icelandic and you're just thinking that everyone's trying to copy her because she's really the only Icelandic music you listen to. yah. the few Icelandic'y grrLs i've heard do vocals have Bjrok Similarities. but.... she's the most perfect vocalist i've ever heard. it might not be fair but i don't care if part of that style is a product of the region or accent.
