Help me with my Synthy Fuzz Quest?

the Copilot FX Trek (couldn't hear much PWM on this one, apparently that only works when rocking an expression pedal back and forth).

the trek is a pulse width fuzz, to add the modulation (pwm) you'll need an expression pedal or an lfo source like the broadcast it will also accept cv signals

Offcourse I forgot to mention you can also use an lfo source, I just meant to say you have to use the expression input to get the pulse width modulation, did you ever make a Trek with an lfo source built-in?

Yes, The normal ff stuff is also there. But much more. I Went with different caps to get more bass. Would recommend that too.

His Pep Box does sound synthesque too. Mind Rocker 4k is more versatile though.

Ian will always add an external 9v Jack on his pedals on request. Some circuits just don't work very well with certain power sources and you can Harm them with Daisy chaining.
Mind Rocker is no Problem though.

I can vouch for the Shoe Pixel. It can definitely achieve that synthy/bit crushed sputtery sound. I really love that pedal. Also, the new version Shoe makes has an octave up on it, so that makes it even more fun...
The only downer I can say about it is that it doesn't pair well with other dirt (at least not with dirt I have). The Pixel on its own has a ton of body, but with any other drive pedal it seems to lose a good amount of its oomph...

Just curious. I'm assuming you're using it before a drive. What are you pairing it with? I like to know if some other thing doesn't play well with one of my pedals so I can tell people.

Yeah, the order of my dirt is Amp>Dwarfcraft ECT>Pixel>Rat>Boss SD1. I've also played around with that order, and the results are largely the same.
But with any other dirt on, it sucks that distinct Pixel sound quite a bit. The cutting high end and grit gets tamed a good deal. But that being said, I've found that while it's on I really don't want it paired with any other drives or distortion since it sounds so darn good on its own.
Just found this out today, but it may be good to note that it sounds incredible running a singing saw through it.

Yeah, I have usually found it ok to run otehr things into the pixel though it sounds different. Running it into something else will often depend on how much signal the otehr pedal can take before it farts out as the pixel really can put out a lot of volume and doesn't have a guitar-like tone, really. However, it does seem to love going into delays and modulations.
