Fuck yeah, I'm going! I saw Sleep at fyf and the sound was incredible. Stood far away but it still sounded so massive and loud. MBV will be killer. I saw them at Liberty Lunch in Austin over 20 years ago frying on acid and it was stellar!!!!

As far as I unnerstand, it's Ginn who has control of the name & purse-strings. And Ginn is apparently playing out & has released a new song as Black Flag, but without any of the other original members. Some reports have the Ginn Flag shows as being really weird & spotty. Keith definitely has hippie dreads. I saw him perform with Off! and he was friggin' great. Of course, discussing those guys is as much of a rabbit hole as MBV or QOTSA or any of those bands that everyone gets split over (which is maybe any band that survives long enough for a critical mass of people to care).

Damn. This is the only festival in a while I've actually wanted to go to. Usually they're loaded with 50 bands I don't care about and 5 I like. This is like 70% shit I'd be down to see.
