I like the PP+ but then i saw the Carl Martin Propower (i think thats what its called)...doesn't have much flexibility, as it only has 9v, but it does two different voltages so you can use it the US and Europe with a flick of a switch...if i ever tour the world!

The pussy power is awesome, but its just really expensive! And its big, does it fit under the pedaltrain?

I think it should fit under a pedaltrain. It's the same height as a PP II+, maybe even smaller. Don't take my word for it though. Contact CIOKS or ask TGP. They know everything.

got my thumb out of my arse and sat myself down and tested the godlyke, onespot and fuel tank chameleon against each other.

check out the noise comparisons when the pharaoh is on and off between the different power supplies (I've marked all the times).

all the playing sounds like shit because iphone, but you can clearly hear the difference. fucking power supplies.

The Godlyke resulted in some white noise, but that's partly the pedal. The OneSpot was the quietest overall to me. The T-Rex was most definitely the noisiest.

Rad shirt!

As some of you know I was having a bitch of a time finding caps for my soundtronics and most of the normal places did not have what I was looking for.
I found some of the stuff I needed on this random website for Newark/element 14. I ordered the shit I needed and allready have it and installed the caps. Amp is Happy.
This morning I got a call from them asking if the order got to me and if everything worked out ok, then letting me know they were sending me a code for 15% off on my next order.
I'm just pleasantly suprised at the customer service and thought it was pretty cool of them. My order was tiny but they still acted like it was a big deal. Kind of nice in this day and age.

DARREN THATS FUCKING AWESOME! :thumb:

I "might" be able to make it! That week is turning into a cluster fuck for me as I'm supposed to be on vacation but if my job doesnt hire a new person by then I will have to be back by that wednesday, and I'll be alone at home till sunday so I was considering taking a bus up there to catch the show and then taking a bus back late at night as I have a gig the next day. It would be rough but totally worth it. If I do end up getting a ticket and going I will definitely let you know as this time I will be by myself and won't have the band mates or management meetings to worry about.

Cool. One of my other bandmates is already going and so is my girlfriend. If you end up needing a couch to sleep on then I have you covered. The same goes for any of you other guys too. If you want to make it into town for the show and need a place to stay that night, then my place is available.

OMGGG My GF posted this on my facebook. I have to go. sounds amazing, the whole doom room should meet up there and high five all night long. ill sleep in the tub if need be ;)

And yeah gargled cocks is right, I saw them not long ago and was kinda bummed about the low volume and weak ass tone but it was cool to them them regardless.

vidret wrote:anyone using a power supply they can totally get behind when it comes to ZERO FUCKING HUM? I got a chameleon recently and it introduces hum, with the pharaoh on it boosts it so that the hum has the low G note, if i stop playing or turn down the volume knob it interferes with my signal, clashes - yall know what i'm saying. i like it but it has to go.

I always stood behind creative uses of onespots but since i got 2 strymons I have to use power supplies unless i want wallwarts errrwhere.

voodoo? cioks? I thought t-rex chameleon was the clear winner but that was only on paper it seems, hence I ask for experiences.

DUDE I hate hum too. I hae 2 pedal power 2 pluses daisychained from each other and I run 2 strymons with no issue. they only work on a certian few banks though. BUT they have courtesy outs that you can plus the strymon supply into and youll have no issues there. I power one off the courtesy and one off the PP2+ and have no problem.

Yes. Literally my favorite cloth. I want one of those little vox pathfinder heads that look like that.

Add one to the 'times I can't stand living in the South far away from a real city' column.

And I am super bummed to hear that Al no longer has the toan. Very bummed.

I saw Om last week and that is pretty much how I walked away from the show as well. It was really demanding of the audience the way they'd start a jam, build it up and the kind of taper out again. They were great, but it would have been much more enjoyable if I was ripped and could have sat down to watch it, as one of my mates said. Unfortunately it was a school night and I had to drive as Brisbane's public transport is terrible and pretty much stops before shows finish. I did dig the hypnotic kind of psych stuff the were doing (Emil is a groove machine) but I was hanging out for more monolithic fuzz riffage. They played a little bit of Bhima's Theme, which is my second favorite of theirs (flight of the eagle does it for me,personally), but there wasn't a lot of that going on.
I've only ever seen them with Ampegs, obviously getting the greens down here is out of the question.
That pyramid gig sounds like the fucking tits though.

I read up on that Manson page for like a line and just couldn't be fucked. Those people are just time wasters and oxygen thieves.

Also, Skip, stop posting shit about your friggin Skyhammer! :p
