Those OSC type pedals are all sensitive to the kind of pickups and even your volume and tone knob positions so you have to try different settings... :thumb:

True, I always forget that, but then again I have never been much of a guitar knob twiddler, probably that's why I like the Wolf Computer so much, it just gives a nice and useable range right from the get go. :)
I'm mostly curious about the Unpleasant Surprise and the Devi Ever pedals now (out of the ones I can try that is).

I usually pair my wolfie with an octave/pitch-shifter pedal of some kind to get those sub synth sounds. Shit gets massive :animal: I remember when I first plugged into the wolf computer, every setting felt perfect and it still is the funnest pedal I own.

The Devi Ever Bit's supposed to be really good, and the Test Pattern looks great for glitch-synth madness :!!!: I have the GZ and it definitely gets synthy. I haven't played many Devi pedals that are very versatile (TP and 33/heroin lifestyle had the widest variety, nothing synthy though), but each are great at the trick they do.

I tried your suggestions, thanks!
The Wolf sounds very cool together with the OC-2 for electro synth type styles. :)
A boost in front of the Wolf makes it more stable for synth lead stuff, like you said.
I was already very happy with it but it keeps getting better and better. :yay:

I'm REALY digging the second voice for synthy stuff. It took me a min. To get it but the key seems to be the volume controls. Getting the right mix of clean fuzz harmony and sub.

V3 but not the deluxe. The sub is a little useless on bass unless your playing realy high but I have found if I turn the tone all the way down on it and raise the level just until I can hear it it gives a cool rumbling to the rest of the sound.

I was mostly looking into the regular V3 or V2 but I'll use it with guitar.
Rumbling can be nice, especially if you're playing bass. :)

I edited my first post a bit, I tried the Beautiful Disaster but it sounded a bit thin to me and I didn't like the way the gate acts with my guitar so that one's off my list.
Thanks to you guys I put some new ones there though: :)
Clone Schumann PLL
Idiotbox Death Ray
Infanem Second Voice V2, Second Voice V3
Mountainking Electronics Decomposer, Frequency LSD
Shoe Pedals Pixelfix, Silver Apple
Smallsound Bigsound Blargg O Tron O Tron

Any more thoughts on these and what they do?

One trick pony if you ask me. I would be more interested in what Brain from SSBS will present with his take on it.

Idiotbox Death Ray

Awesome and from what I can read, cheep and well built too. We have a tourbox thread here somewhere but from what I have listened too its solid.

Infanem Second Voice V2, Second Voice V3

Owned two V2's at one point. Really well done. I have not tried the new revamp. Ken does some solid work.

Mountainking Electronics Decomposer, Frequency LSD

The LSD is nasty. Excane has videos of this and the decomposer in the mountain king thread.

Shoe Pedals Pixelfix, Silver Apple

I haven't looked into either of these but I have not heard anything negative either.

Smallsound Bigsound Blargg O Tron O Tron

Will be out of production at least for a while until Brian brings it back out. Good luck finding one as they are really sought after. Especially around here.

Thanks guys!
I watched all the video's and read lots of threads and all of them seem really legit, it's just a matter of which one to get because I can't get them all in one go. ;)
Clone Schumann PLL: I'm really curious about this one, from what I heard and understand I think this could maybe replace three fuzz pedals on my board (Copilot Orbit, Freakshow HiRay, Mooer FOG)
Idiotbox Death Ray: This seems very cool and it's not expensive at all, though it also seems to be a bit similar to my Orbit and I guess that one's more versatile with the mix knob.
Infanem Second Voice V2, Second Voice V3: Nice synthy harmony fuzz with 8 bit computer sounds to boot, the V2 seems to have carrier noise issues though and the suboctave on the V3 isn't as fat from what I read.
Shoe Pedals Pixelfix, Silver Apple: The Pixelfix seems really nice with those cool synthy sounds and that octave up footswitch, the Silver Apple apparently is a souped up take on the Wolf Computer which I like quite a lot.

Univalve, wow, that Mind Rocker is great!
It says it's based on a Fuzz Face but I don't really hear it in there, do you know whether it can also do the typical Fuzz Face type sounds?
I'm actually looking for a nice Fuzz Face type pedal that sounds special enough and has enough versatility to put on my board, so far I liked the Dirt Transmitter best but I couldn't get a nice enough solo sound out of it, the different textures you can get out of it are great though.
Now I'm waiting for the Skreddy BC109, I'm hoping it can do the nice textures of the Dirt Transmitter and that real Fuzz Face solo sound I love so much.
That Mind Rocker seems great though, what transistors would you recommend? (I'm a noob with that stuff)

Pwm fuzz style(blargotron) gets my vote, pll stuff can track weird....but that is part of the fun, plus the gliss stuff.....transistor based seems to go more Nintendo, but not bit crushy like the pwm.

Yeah, too bad there's not many PWM fuzz pedals out there, I tried the Synthmonger Pulsemonger MKI (not in a good way the noisiest pedal I ever heard) and the Copilot FX Trek (couldn't hear much PWM on this one, apparently that only works when rocking an expression pedal back and forth).
It's not that I'm mostly going for nintendo 8 bit type sounds, they're fun to have but the main thing is a nice synthy type sound that is stable enough for regular (melodic) playing, for the real crazy stuff I already have a bitcrusher.
