Clones, reissues, relics and copies.

If the photo industry was like the music equipment industry there would be tons of botique companies making Clones of these.

WW II was photographed with Leicas and Speed Graphics.
Viet Nam with Leica, Nikon and Cannon
Margret Bourke White, Ansel Adams and even Mathew Brady actually pointed their cameras away from themselves.
Dummies didn’t know you’re supposed to hold it at arm’s length and take pictures of yourself.

Luckily you can buy a cloned '32 Ford or Shelby Cobra.

There's actually a fairly substantial market for vintage cameras, I believe.

The first one looks like a prop from The Golden Compass.

The one eyed snake looked like flex hose.

There are a lot of those originals around and not that expensive as Vintage stuff goes.
