Want Ruckus II so bad.

I should calm down.

I've got bad GAS for a new bass. Really wanting to go short scale, either a Mustang or Beatle bass. I need something smaller and more fun, and the shorter scale seems to be ideal for me.
Probably need to sell off a few pedals though. Tempted to sell a few things I just never play anymore but part of me is hesitant.

I'm also considering getting rid of a lot of my current setup. I think it's the only way I can really justify buying a ton of new equipment.

meanwhile, i'm waiting for my Kalamazoo amp to get out of the shop, which should happen this week. then i'm going to concentrate on the Musima guitar from the DDR. i found knobs that are close to the originals, there's a shop in Germany that has a vibrato arm that'll work, and i need to get the pick guard guy on the case. i also have to figure out the schematic for the 4-position rotary tone switch which has been screwed up. eventually i'll polish the back of the neck, hand sand the body and put a couple of coats of French polish on the body and back of the headstock.

I want to do this. But the problem is, I've refined my gear collection and tastes so finely that there is nothing I can currently part with, at least in the way of pedals. I'm sure I could let go of my Iron Horse, but I'd need another RAT to make up for it, so I may as well keep it until Dunwich releases his 36v RAT clone or I see a Earthbound Audio Iron Pig for cheap.

For some reason I'd been thinking the vox was closer to a mkii. I think they are essentially the same but with slightly different component values. If they prove to be too similar I'll probably just stick with the one I prefer

Yeah I see what you mean. I'm already thinking about what I could hypothetically sell and it's certainly not enough to offset all the new items I want to purchase.
